Riposo a Gien

 

Giorno di riposo oggi per il camminatore Michele del Giudice. Un riposo che si è lasciato desiderare... Avrebbe dovuto riposare avant'ieri (lunedì 25 giugno) ed invece ha preferito proseguire fino a Gien. Ora, ben tre tappe più avanti, si ferma per il suo secondo giorno di riposo da quando è partito da Mont Saint-Michel.

Come di consueto, vuole condividere con noi qualche suo pensiero, che riporto di seguito:

Esco di buon’ora. Giro, percorro per qualche chilometro il lungo-Loira e ritorno in centro. Mi fermo da Joffrey ad un tavolino sul passeggio dell'area verde. Prendo una bibita e parliamo. Mi mostra un catalogo interessante.  A una sessantina di chilometri da Gien c'è un comunità che costruisce con i metodi medievali (www.guedelon.fr). 

Oggi ci dò un’occhiata. Ci raggiunge il padre di Joffrey, Thierry. Un bell’incontro. Possiamo parlare di belle cose comuni… MA NON CONOSCE MONTE SANTANGELO NE LA PUGLIA NE IL GARGANO! Il 99% delle persone contattate non ci conoscono! Credo che l’azione che sta svolgendo la Regione negli ultimi tempi sia giusta: portare il brand “Puglia” in giro per il mondo. Non è possibile parlare di Gargano o Monte Sant’Angelo se prima non parli di Puglia. Anche questa “lettera” la accantoniamo per ora.

Mangiucchio qualcosa e Joffrey mi offre il caffè. Torno in camera. Devo ancora riposarmi un po’ e preparare il materiale del giorno da inviare a Nicola. Tania e Antonello non saranno contenti di tanto scritto. Domani scriverò di meno. Credo che mi fermerò a Châtillon dove c'è una centrale nucleare. È una novità anche questa.

Day of rest for the walker Michele del Giudice. A rest that seemed hard to get... he should have rested on Monday June 25th and instead he preferred to continue up to Gien. Now, three more stages ahead, he stops for his second day of rest since when he departed from Mont Saint-Michel.

As usual, he wants to share some thought with us, that I report in succession:

I go out early. I tour, I walk for some kilometer along the Loira and I return in the square. I stop at “Joffrey” and I sit on an outdoor table in the green area. I order a drink and then we talk a little. He shows me an interesting catalog. There is a community that builds with medieval methods (www.guedelon.fr) that is far about sixty kilometers from Gien. Today I’m going there. Joffrey’s father,Thierry, reaches us. It’s a beautiful meeting. We can speak about beautiful things. But he doesn't know MONTE SANT’ANGELO, neither Puglia, neither GARGANO! The 99% of the contacted people don't know us! I believe that the action that the Region is developing in the last times is correct: to spread the brand "Puglia" around the world. It is not possible to speak about Gargano or Monte Sant'Angelo if you don't speak about Puglia before. We set aside also this "letter" for now.

I eat something and Joffrey offers me a coffee. I return in my room. I still have to rest and to prepare the material of the day to send to Nicola. Tania and Antonello won't be happy about so much writing. Tomorrow I will write less. I believe that I will stop in Châtillon where there is an atomic power station. It is a novelty.
