Tappa
leggera? Mica tanto! 23km con tre docce nelle prime tre ore. Anche oggi
il vento è forte e il paese di arrivo si vede da lontano perché è posto
in alto. Il paesaggio è sempre brullo, anche se verde. Qualche campo di
grano ingiallito e danneggiato da qualche grandinata che mi sono perso.
Arrivo
verso le 13. Acquisto di qualcosa da mangiare in camera (baguette
piccola, pomodori, scatoletta di tonno e una mela). Esce il sole ma tira
sempre vento che diventa freddo quando il sole si nasconde.
Dopo
un riposino mi metto in marcia: ufficio del turismo (funzionano
perfettamente in tutti i paesi che ho visitato e con personale giovani).
Mi danno una mappa da seguire su un libretto. È un circuito turistico
della città in cui si viene condotti dalla scritta "cirquite
turistique". Il castello: semplicemente fantastico. Leggo che è il
meglio conservato nel territorio della Loira (il fiume che bagna
Châteaudun è il Loir). Risalente al XII secolo è fra i più antichi. Lo
vedo da vicino. Ancora più bello. Ci faccio un giro intorno e mi rilasso
davvero (vi consiglio di vedere le foto che ho scattato). Continuo il
tour turistico e mi delizio con monumenti molto belli, ben conservati e
presentati ancora meglio.
Châteaudun
ha origini celtiche. Infatti nella lingua celtica "dun" indicava un
luogo in alto. Alla fine del V secolo Saint-Aventin compì il miracolo di
salvare suo fratello dalla lebbra. Questo miracolo permise la
cristianizzazione del territorio che seguiva il culto druidico.
Ovviamente nella seconda guerra mondiale seguì in prima linea le varie
vicende belliche fino alla liberazione dal giogo nazista nel ‘44. Certo
mi fa un certo effetto pensare di percorrere territori così ricchi di
storia e che mi hanno fatto sognare nei miei anni di adolescente sui
banchi di scuola. Domenica arriverò a Orleans: già penso che vedrò per
la prima volta nella mia vita la Loira e ne percorrerò il suo territorio
per circa 250 chilometri, visiterò la città di Jeanne d'Arc che tanta
letteratura ha interessato nei secoli. Questo è il Cammino: prendere
cultura e trasportarla. Nei secoli passati il pellegrino portava le
notizie riguardanti i luoghi da lui attraversati e della sua origine.

ENGLISH VERSION
Is
it an easy stage? At all! 23km with three showers in the first three
hours. Today the wind is strong also and the arrival to the village is
seen from afar because it is set aloft. The landscape is always bare,
even though there’s vegetation. I see some darkened and damaged
cornfield by some hailstorm that I missed.
I
arrive toward 1 p.m. I purchase something to eat in my room (small
baguette, tomatoes, tin of tuna and an apple). The sun goes out but the
wind is always strong and it becomes cold when the sun goes away.
After
a rest I restart to walk: At the travel bureau (they perfectly work in
all countries that I have visited and with young staff) they gives me a
map to follow on a book. It is a tourist circuit of the city in which we
are conducted by the writing "cirquite turistique".
The
castle: It’s simply fantastic. I read that it is the best preserved
castle in the territory of the Loira (the river that coasts Châteaudun
is the Loir). The Castle dates at the XII century and it’s among the
most ancient. I see it closely. It’s even more beautiful. I walk around
it and I relax indeed (I recommend you to see the photos that I set
off). I continue the tourist tour and I delight in very beautiful
monuments, well preserved and presented better.
Châteaudun
has Celtic origins. In fact in the Celtic language "dun" suggested an
aloft place. At the end of the V century Saint-Aventin fulfilled the
miracle to save his brother from the leprosy. This miracle allowed the
Christianization of the territory that followed the cult “druidico”.
Obviously in the second world war it followed in forefront the various
war stories up to the liberation from the Nazi yoke in the 1944. It
makes me a certain effect to think about so rich crossing territories in
history and that made me dream during my years of teen-ager on the
benches of school.
I
will arrive to Orleans on Sunday: I already think that I will see for
the first time in my life the Loira and I will cross its territory for
around 250 kilometers, I will visit the city of “Jeanne D’Arc” that was
interesting for a lot of literatures in the centuries. This is the Path:
to take culture and to transport it. In the past centuries the pilgrim
brought the news concerning the places crossed by him and of their
origin.
